Nîmes - Montpellier

La politique d'arrêts des TER entre Nîmes et Montpellier va être modifiée. La plupart des TER actuels ne desservent que Lunel (25500 habitants) et Vergèze (4500 habitants) entre les deux villes. Désormais, ils effectueront un arrêt supplémentaire à Baillargues (6300 habitants). Ainsi, cette halte va connaître une très forte augmentation de sa desserte. 38 TER vont s’arrêter à Baillargues au SA 2014 contre seulement 8 au SA 2013 avec une quasi cadence horaire de 5h31 à 22h38. C'est l'effet cadencement, l'arrêt Baillargues est désormais inscrit dans le sillon catalogue Avignon - Cerbère. En plus de ces nouveaux arrêts sur les TER Avignon - Cerbère, Baillargues garde des arrêts aux heures de pointe sur les navettes Montpellier - Avignon.

Pour autant tous les TER entre les 2 villes ne desserviront pas Baillargues.

La desserte TER entre le Languedoc et Marseille est dans la continuité des changements intervenus dans le courant du SA 2013.

La desserte TER 2014 semble mieux coordonnée avec la desserte Intercités 2014.

L'AR supplémentaire envisagé avec arrivée à Marseille à 17h42 et départ de la cité phocéenne à 19h23 n'est finalement pas mis en place.

Il y aura donc toujours 5A/6R TER entre Nîmes et Marseille en JOB.

Je fais l'hypothèse que le 876510/1 sera toujours prolongé à Narbonne, comme cela a été mis en place au cours du SA 2013.

Il faudrait le repositionner à 6h18 au départ de Marseille dans le sillon libéré par la suppression de l'IC 4752/3 afin de réduire la durée du stationnement à Nîmes.

La politique d'arrêts des TER entre Nîmes et Montpellier va être modifiée. La plupart des TER actuels ne desservent que Lunel (25500 habitants) et Vergèze (4500 habitants) entre les deux villes. Désormais, ils effectueront un arrêt supplémentaire à Baillargues (6300 habitants). Ainsi, cette halte va connaître une très forte augmentation de sa desserte. 38 TER vont s’arrêter à Baillargues au SA 2014 contre seulement 8 au SA 2013 avec une quasi cadence horaire de 5h31 à 22h38. C'est l'effet cadencement, l'arrêt Baillargues est désormais inscrit dans le sillon catalogue Avignon - Cerbère. En plus de ces nouveaux arrêts sur les TER Avignon - Cerbère, Baillargues garde des arrêts aux heures de pointe sur les navettes Montpellier - Avignon.

L'ajout de l'arrêt à Baillargues va en faire hurler plus d'un, d'autant qu'il n'y a pas de gare à cet endroit et qu'il coûte 2 à 3 minutes...

Je lis déjà l'article de commande de la région à Midi Libre vantant la desserte de proximité, le report modal, etc. et oubliant les voyageurs qui seront inévitablement debout entre Baillargues et Montpellier aux heures de pointe.

En heures de pointes, cet arrêt va fragiliser un peu plus l'exploitation. N'aurait-il pas été plus judicieux d'attendre l'ouverture de la LGV pour multiplier les arrêts sur la ligne actuelle ? Ou bien de réserver cet arrêt supplémentaire ne concernant que Montpellier aux futurs omnibus Lunel - Sète ?

La principale nouveauté serait la mise en place d'un AR supplémentaire avec arrivée à Marseille à 17h42 et départ de la cité phocéenne à 19h23.

Ce ter vient en remplacement de l'AR en TGV supprimé par la SNCF qui desservait les grandes villes de la région. L'offre reste donc stable au final.

La desserte TER 2014 semble mieux coordonnée avec la desserte Intercités 2014.

Ce n'est pas un mal !

A noter cependant la "dégradation" de l'offre en ter suite à l'apparition des arrêts L'Estaque et Baillargues sur de nombreux trains Montpellier - Marseille. Ces arrêts qui ont une visée purement locale contribuent à accroître inutilement les temps de parcours. Ils n'ont à mon avis rien à faire sur des liaisons au long parcours à l'exploitation déjà très fragile.

La Région Languedoc-Roussillon a décidé de supprimer l'aller-retour ferroviaire de mi-journée. Il ne reste donc plus qu'un unique AR ferroviaire en JOB entre Marvejols et Mende.

L'AR supprimé donnait/relevait la correspondance à Marvejols avec l'Aubrac sens sud-nord, ou plutôt ce qu'il en reste. Il faut bien se faire une raison : depuis des années, cet AR de mi-journée était aussi vide que tous les autres sur cette section (très souvent 0 voyageur, souvent 1 ou 2, plus rarement 5), sauf pointe hebdomadaire : 1 AR par semaine !
Traditionnellement, tout ça était organisé pile-poil pour interdire tout déplacement domicile-travail : arrivée à Mende juste après 8h00, départ juste avant midi ou juste avant 18h00. On remarque que le job est parachevé, avec le car qui arrive largement après 14h00, en remplacement du train qui arrivait (par erreur ?) un peu avant 14h00.
Il y a bien 25 ans, le chef de gare de Mende m'avait dit, en regardant côté Marvejols : "un jour, là-bas, t'auras un butoir". Le plus surprenant est peut-être qu'on n'y soit pas encore tout à fait aujourd'hui.

Pour les déplacements avec des villes situées au nord de Mende, l'offre se résume aux quelques cars pour Clermont et un car pour Le Puy. Ne faudrait-il pas développer la relation routière Mende - Le Puy en correspondance avec les TER Le Puy - Lyon ou les TER Le Puy - Saint-Étienne eux-mêmes en correspondance avec les TGV Saint-Étienne - Paris ?

Mende - Paris via Lyon (1 car créé en 1989 sjmsb) et Mende - Paris via Clermont (± 3 cars créés en 1994) doivent être à peu près à égalité en temps de parcours - j'ai la flemme de vérifier - mais sans doute pas en tarifs ni en fiabilité : avantage via Clermont sur les 2 critères. Autant l'A 75 est super-entretenue (la DRIR, i.e. l'Etat, y assure une viabilité hivernale meilleure que sur bien des autoroutes concédées, notamment l'A 89 où c'est franchement "service minimum"), autant la RN 88 peut être hard : 2 cols à + de 1200 m entre Mende et Le Puy (90 km), impératif de déneigement "au noir" limité à la période 7h00 à 20h00 aux dernières nouvelles.

La Région Languedoc-Roussillon procède à quelques modifications de la desserte. Il y aura moins de trains sur la ligne des Cévennes dès le 15 décembre.

Les TER Clermont - Nîmes desservent désormais la halte du Luc.

Le 877703 (Alès 7h26 - Nîmes 7h58) est supprimé le samedi, mais le TER suivant au départ d'Alès à 7h56 circulera désormais le samedi.

Le 878925 (Langogne 12h43 - Nîmes 14h58 LàS) est supprimé. La Région le remplace par un TER quotidien au départ de Mende à 11h47, qui reprend ce sillon entre La Bastide-Saint-Laurent et Nîmes. A noter que les arrêts à Sainte-Cécile-d'Andorge et La Levade sont supprimés le vendredi. Il est remplacé par un car au départ de Langogne.

Le TER 877515 (Génolhac 14h38 - Nîmes 15h58 LàS ; Alès 15h26 - Nîmes 15h58 DF) est supprimé.

Le TER 877517 (Génolhac 17h38 - Nîmes 19h02) est supprimé le dimanche. Il reste maintenu à 17h39 du lundi au vendredi au départ de Génolhac. Les arrêts à Sainte-Cécile d'Andorge et La Levade sont supprimés.

Le TER 877715 (Mende 16h50 - Nîmes 19h58) est supprimé entre Mende et Alès du lundi au jeudi et le samedi. Après avoir supprimé un TER entre Génohlac et Alès au SA 2013, la région Languedoc en supprime deux autres au SA 2014. Il reste donc 7 trains en JOB entre Génolhac et Alès, contre 10 au SA 2012.

Le détail des évolutions

En concertation avec l'AOT (Région Languedoc-Roussillon), nous sommes amenés à remettre des arrêts supprimés entre Mende et La Bastide depuis le 15/12 et ceci dès le Dimanche 5 Janvier 2014 sur des services à vocation scolaire.
Tous ces arrêts sont des situations de VHQ.
Cela concerne les arrêts entre Mende et La Bastide aux TER suivants:
- TER 877716 Nîmes 12h18 - Mende 15h25 des Vendredis scolaires : Rajout des arrêts Allenc - Belvezet - Chasserades : cela supprime la variante du vendredi scolaire.
- TER 877525 Mende 16h50 - Nîmes 19h58 des vendredis scolaires : Rajout des arrêts Allenc - Belvezet - Chasserades : cela supprime la variante du vendredi scolaire.
- TER 877714 Nîmes 18h18 - Mende 21h18 des dimanches soirs scolaires : Rajout exclusivement de Chasserades (comme au SA 2013).
Ces rajouts seront applicables dès la rentrée du 2ème trimestre scolaire donc dès le Dimanche 05 Janvier 2014.
A noter que sur ces 3 TER, nous avions mis un arrêt à Bagnols Chadenet car les quais permettent l'UM2 BGC donc inchangé.
Par contre, nous maintenons les arrêts supprimés sur le TER 878991 entre Marvejols (22h28) et Mende compte-tenu de son horaire tardif et qu'il n'est absolument fréquenté que par des élèves qui montent tous à Marvejols et qui descendent à Mende.

Temps de parcours identique, mais pas de desserte de La Levade, Chasserades (14h27/28), Belvezet (14h40/41), et Allenc (14h55/56) par le 877716 le vendredi... Une idée du pourquoi ?

Cela est lié à des voitures hors quai. Finalement les arrêts vont être rétablis.

Langogne - La Bastide-Saint-Laurent - Génolhac - Alès - Nîmes

La Région Languedoc-Roussillon procède à quelques modifications de la desserte. Il y aura moins de trains sur la ligne des Cévennes dès le 15 décembre.

Les TER Clermont - Nîmes desservent désormais la halte du Luc. Les quelques arrêts supprimés au 15 décembre pour cause de voitures hors quai sont rétablis à compter du 5 janvier.

Sens impair
Le 877703 (Alès 7h26 - Nîmes 7h58) est supprimé le samedi, mais le TER suivant au départ d'Alès à 7h56 circulera désormais le samedi.

Le 878925 (Langogne 12h43 - Nîmes 14h58 LàS) est supprimé. La Région le remplace par un TER quotidien au départ de Mende à 11h47, qui reprend ce sillon entre La Bastide-Saint-Laurent et Nîmes. A noter que les arrêts à Sainte-Cécile-d'Andorge et La Levade sont supprimés le vendredi. Il est remplacé par un car au départ de Langogne.

Le TER 877515 (Génolhac 14h29 - Nîmes 15h58) est maintenu au départ de Génohlac uniquement le vendredi. Des arrêts sont rajoutés à Sainte-Cécile-d'Andorge et La Levade. Il est supprimé entre Génolhac et Alès du lundi au jeudi et le samedi.

Le TER 877517 (Génolhac 17h38 - Nîmes 19h02) est supprimé le dimanche. Il reste maintenu à 17h39 du lundi au vendredi au départ de Génolhac. Les arrêts à Sainte-Cécile d'Andorge et La Levade sont supprimés.

Le TER 877715 (Mende 16h50 - Nîmes 19h58) est supprimé entre Mende et Alès du lundi au jeudi et le samedi. Après avoir supprimé un TER entre Génohlac et Alès au SA 2013, la région Languedoc en supprime deux autres au SA 2014. Il reste donc 7 trains en JOB entre Génolhac et Alès, contre 10 au SA 2012.

Le TER 876510/1, partant de Marseille à 6h02 n'est finalement pas limité à Nîmes à 7h21. Il est prolongé à Narbonne (9h27) par couplage avec une rame venant d'Alès ou Génohlac. Malheureusement, il y a un stationnement de longue durée à Nîmes.

La réservation obligatoire par internet sur les TER LR risque d'avoir deux effets pervers :
- fermeture de guichets (vers le 0 guichet en LR?)
- LR n'ayant pas prévu l'achat de nouvelles rames (Régiolis ou Regio2N), on gérera ainsi la pénurie de places.
